Superstition
1: What's your favorite superstition?
2: Hit your mother in the back with a sledgehammer, break your mothers back.
1: I don't think that counts as a superstition.
2: Well that depends on the meaning of superstition. Super means greater than or above.
1: In this case I think it's a reference to supernatural. Above or beyond natural. Unnatural.
2: Nothing natural about hitting your mother in the back with a sledgehammer.
1: Well if you put it that way.
2: But what does stition mean?

I was going to write this exactly, word for word. Well, the final sentence, anyways.
Glad I went with something else, as you added a nice sledgehammer imagery that I wouldn't have brought up.
